| This elegant sampler showcases six bands of bold original composite patterns that suggest flowers and/or trellises to support the theme of the gardening verse in the middle section. The sampler is a good learning piece for the intermediate level canvas embroiderer who wants to stretch. The open patterns fit the bands with a minimum of compensation, and all of the sequences used have been manipulated to automatically conceal the traveling paths. Some patterns have blackwork and/or couching accents, and the dark canvas recommended creates dramatic negative spaces that further enhance the patterning. Finished Design Size: 9.5 " x 18". | ||
