dede Ogden
BIOGRAPHY
dede Ogen

dede Ogden was first involved with needlework as a child with the help of a caring Aunt. After studying interior design at the University of Kansas, 38 years ago, her needlework interests bloomed again. In these years she has developed an internationally known business, producing hand-painted canvaswork designs.

Early in her business, she found that individuals and shops needed assistance in canvas embellishment and shading techniques. So a teaching career also bloomed which has included Callaway Gardens Needle Arts School, A.N.G., E.G.A., national seminars, local chapters, and shops nationwide.

She has been honored to judge various needlework exhibits. dede also conducts stitching retreats in California, the Caribbean, England, China, Canada, and ships circling the globe to advance knowledge at all levels in canvaswork. Her stitching designs and techniques can be seen in numerous needlework publications, stores and on the Internet. A book of stitches, unique techniques and threads will be offered on the market in the year 2004.
