Need a smashing image of your needlework?

Times are changing and teachers and dedicated stitchers often find they need a professional image of their needlework. We all spend a great deal of time taking photos that don’t turn out the way we would like. It’s expensive and more importantly it is time-consuming.

Stitchers are having their pieces used in magazine articles. Often the photographs don’t do your hours and hours of stitching justice. You need a smashing image of your needlework!

Teachers are being asked to provide JPEG images for the web and 300 dpi CMYK TIFF or EPS images for four-color brochures. Most of us don’t have the foggiest idea what the last sentence means. Furthermore, it's hard to take time to learn or it will be another activity that takes away from our precious stitching time. You need a smashing image of your needlework.

As technology continues to change so does the need for computer generated documents and images. When the brochure goes out, it’s important to have your piece stand out from all the others. You need a smashing image of your needlework.

Because of the number of entries for juried shows, entrants have 10 to 20 seconds to make a lasting impression on the panel judges. You need a smashing image of your needlework!

Wouldn’t it be great to leave all the headaches to a professional needlework photographer?

Jennifer Ashley Taylor has been photographing needlework for 20 years. Currently she is the staff photographer for the needlework magazine, needlepoint now. She photographs all the images for the front and back covers of the bimonthly publication as well as the images for many of the articles.

With this background, you can be assured you will get the results your special needlework needs and deserves! Here is what you do:

1. Complete the Photography Order Form and submit it to Jennifer. Note: The order form has detailed mailing instructions.
2. Send your package to Jennifer and leave the rest to her.  She will photograph your needlework and return your needlework and the CD to you within the specified time agreed upon with Jennifer.
