Jennifer Ashley Taylor Seasons Japanese Embroidery Design The first day of Japanese Embroidery is devoted to properly framing up the silk material and laying foundations. The next three days are devoted to learning 12 Japanese embroidery techniques. An exciting part of the class is the heritage of 1000+ years of tradition that is shared each day. This gives the student a sense of the cultural richness, the disciplines associated with the embroidery and the spiritual aspects of this unique art.
