It sure is a nuisance to have to carefully measure the intervals when lacing up the fabric for a new piece. Yet this is an extremely important step not given enough attention all too often. The E-Z Lacing template is designed to assist with spacing the lacing stitches. Even lacing stitches helps avoid ripples in the silk at the edges and maintaining even tension on the silk. Avoiding rippling is particularly important when the design encroaches the edge of the fabric. The template is 10" long and 1" wide and comes with a full page of step-by-step instructions.
