A challenge for the most sophisticated stitcher, the kikko is one of the most beautiful symbols in Japanese embroidery. It is unfortunate that it has remained such a stitching mystery. Because of its interlocking geometric shape, it is essential that all the lines are accurate. When the design elements are put on the ground fabric before framing up, the kikko forms are often distorted. The E-Z Kikko will be one of your most important templates, as it will take the guesswork out of making perfect six-sided shapes! Two templates are included (for the "easy" and "correct" way to make kikkos) along with 4 pages of step-by-step color instructions. These templates fit snugly in the 9 pocket E-Z Template Holder too. Althea DeBrule wrote: " I enjoy using your templates. The kikko template is absolutely fabulous. It takes the fear and stress out of doing great kikkos."
