| Framing up the fabric is a crucial stage to beginning every new Japanese embroidery project. But, we only do it every once in awhile. Often it's hard to remember important steps to get the silk framed up properly. These five pages of illustrations and text give you step-by-step instructions to assure success. Critical steps are hi-lighted in yellow so you can quickly see pertinent information. Use the E-Z Lacing template to assist with spacing the lacing stitches the length of the silk. Even lacing stitches helps avoid ripples at the edges of the silk and even fabric tension to make your stitching easier and more enjoyable. Store your template in the 9 pocket E-Z Template Holder for easy access. |
