JAT52: Laying Tool |
|
|
Having a comfortable laying tool to use to achieve the maximum reflection and refraction is imperative when stitching with flat silk or other shiny threads. The BLT (Best Laying Tool) is engineered for the serious needlework student who frequently practices Japanese and other fine embroidery techniques. Tooled of stainless steel, the tip is pointed to facilitate removing those difficult pinhead stitches or when doing the "frog" stitch (rip it, rip it). The handle is thicker to reduce or eliminate hand cramping that you may have experienced with other smaller or larger shaft instruments. It's light weight too. A protective plastic case is included with a red tip to easily locate it in your sewing box. |
