Bamboo leaves are certainly one of the most well known Japanese embroidery motifs. Unlike the traditional separated layers technique though, the stitching angle doesn't change except at the tip. But, what is that angle? Well, the E-Z Bamboo template makes that question irrelevant. Using the template, place guidelines on the right and left sides of your vein with a white, blue or #4H pencil.
