This project is designed for stitchers who would like a small design to reinforce some of the basic Kurenai-Kai techniques. Techniques include: framing up the fabric, Japanese knots, woven effect, lattice holding, twisting flat silk into a stitchable thread, and couching.
The 6" design highlights five stylized flowers in soft pastel peach colors. Four blossoms have flat silk foundations. The fifth blossom is couched with gold.
