This little blue bird sits upon a branch worked in whipped outline stitch with Appleton wool along the outer lines and the inner portion is left void. The wired leaves stitched with cotton floss flutter in the breeze. The fat little bird is first padded to give him the dimensional breast and head of the blue bird and is stitched with Appleton wool. The wings and tail feathers are worked in outline stitch.
