Each link below features one thread and one stitch. In addition to learning or refreshing your memory about these versatile stitches, you will be working with fun threads as well. Also you will have a record of approximately how much thread and how many plies it takes to stitch a one-inch square on 14 count canvas. This information is particularly valuable if you have a large background area to stitch. Use this information to estimate the number of skeins or cards, etc. so you have enough of the same dye lot to finish the area.
